Pilgrimage (Yatra)

To create a globally connected Jain community where devotees across North America actively engage in pilgrimage, shared spiritual experiences, and cross-border fellowship, inspiring lifelong commitment to Jinshasan and strengthening Jain unity worldwide resulting in Sadharmik bhakti and support to any Jain in need

Core Mission

To deepen spiritual connection and strengthen Sadharmik bonds across the global Jain community by organizing structured, meaningful international yatras to sacred Jain temples outside India, fostering devotion, learning, and collective spiritual growth.

Committee Description

The JAINA Yatra Committee is dedicated to planning and executing international Jain pilgrimage journeys that go beyond travel and serve as a collective spiritual experience rooted in Sadharmik bhakti. The committee will organize yatras to selected Jain temples across various circuits and yearly rotations in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, East Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Dubai. The initiative aims to bring together at least 200 Sadharmiks, providing them an opportunity to experience Jainism in global contexts, strengthen inter-community relationships, and deepen spiritual understanding. The committee will ensure safe, well-coordinated, and meaningful pilgrimage experiences, with special focus on enabling the bridge to understand the unstated and understated needs and experiences of various Jain communities outside the USA. Through these efforts, the committee also seeks to inspire global Jain communities to connect with North America and exchange best practices for sustaining and flourishing Jinshasan across borders.
