Committee Description

JAINA Women’s Committee aspires to provide a platform to all women to promote personal growth, social wellbeing, spiritual progress, peace, and harmony at the home, committee, national, and international levels.

It is our endeavor to make our programs globally relevant , socially responsible and locally reachable to all women.

Major Accomplishments

Luvin Arms - The Women of Luvin Arms: Story of compassion

Session on compassion and Jivdaya organized by Jaina's Women Committee. Very engaging and interactive session with several takeaways and plans for continued engagement with Jaina local chapters and Luvin Arms.

Charter

The Women Empowerment Committee is dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for women of all backgrounds and subsects who follow Jain principles or are inspired by Ahimsa. The committee will design and implement programs that address key areas such as education, health, well-being, leadership, and skill development. It will serve as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and mentorship, enabling women to share experiences and grow collectively. By promoting initiatives at local, national, and international levels, the committee will ensure accessibility and relevance while encouraging women to take on leadership roles within their communities. Through partnerships, outreach, and continuous engagement, the committee aims to create measurable impact in empowering women to contribute more effectively to society and strengthen the Jain community.

Roles and Responsibilities

Chairperson: Provide strategic leadership, set vision and priorities, and ensure alignment with JAINA’s mission and values.

Programs & Development Lead: Design and implement initiatives focused on education, health, well-being, and leadership development.

Community Engagement Lead: Build connections with women across regions, ensuring inclusivity and active participation.

Mentorship & Leadership Coordinator: Develop mentorship programs and create pathways for women to take on leadership roles.

Communications & Outreach Lead: Promote initiatives, manage communications, and increase awareness through digital and community channels.

Partnerships & Advocacy Lead: Establish collaborations with organizations and advocate for issues impacting women.

Events & Workshops Coordinator: Organize seminars, workshops, and forums to support learning and engagement.

Research & Impact Analyst: Track outcomes, measure impact, and provide insights to improve programs and initiatives.
