Jiv Daya & Humanitarian Services — Adhoc

Uplifting Underprivileged Jains

To create a self-reliant and empowered community where individuals—especially in India—are equipped with the education, skills, and opportunities needed to break the cycle of poverty and live with dignity and independence.

Core Mission

To uplift underprivileged individuals by providing access to education, vocational training, and skill development, enabling them to achieve sustainable livelihoods and improved quality of life.

Committee Description

The JAINA Upliftment Committee is committed to creating meaningful and sustainable impact in the lives of underprivileged individuals, with a focus on supporting Jain families where possible, while remaining inclusive to all. The committee will design and implement programs that provide quality education for children, vocational training for youth, and skill enhancement opportunities for adults, enabling long-term financial independence.

It will identify credible local partners, NGOs, and training institutions in India to deliver effective on-ground impact. The committee will also ensure that initiatives are scalable, measurable, and aligned with JAINA’s values of service and compassion. By focusing on empowerment rather than aid alone, the committee aims to create lasting transformation in communities and promote self-sufficiency.

Sometimes, the grant is based more on need rather than merit, thus achieving the motto of "uplift the underprivileged."

Upliftment Framework

A platform for Jains helping others by education, vocational training and mentorship. Selected beneficiaries in India — with preference for Jain community members but not limited to — receive holistic support:

Children: Access to quality education to break the cycle of poverty

Young Adults: Career-oriented vocational training

Working Adults: Skill enhancement programs to increase earning potential and financial stability

Our Objective: Dignity Through Self-Reliance. We invest in human potential, not just short-term aid.
