To be a strategic partner in leveraging technology to empower JAINA, its committees, Jain Centers, and the broader Jain community in fulfilling JAINA’s mission. The committee ensures seamless, secure, and efficient operation of all IT infrastructure and systems while supporting JAINA’s strategic initiatives.
Committee Description
The JAINA Technology Committee is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing technology solutions to support the organization’s operations and goals, including:
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee JAINA web portal, mailing lists, convention registration systems, group emails, member blogs, and social media platforms.
- Manage online payment and donation processing, domain registration, internet-based meetings, and telephone conferencing.
Strategic Technology Initiatives:
- Prioritize and implement projects that directly support JAINA’s strategic goals.
- Explore data-driven insights to improve decision-making across JAINA.
- Enhance online fundraising capabilities and digital engagement.
- Consolidate and streamline technology systems and domains for efficiency.
Security & Reliability:
- Ensure secure and uninterrupted operation of all IT systems and platforms.
- Implement best practices for cybersecurity, data privacy, and system maintenance.
Support & Collaboration:
- Provide technology support to JAINA committees, Jain Centers, and community initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication channels across the organization.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify emerging technologies and trends that can benefit JAINA’s operations and community engagement.
- Continuously improve IT systems to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
