Student Loan

The JAINA Student Loan Committee is established to develop, manage, and oversee an interest-free student loan program aligned with Jain principles of seva (service), trust, and community support. The committee will create transparent policies, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and repayment guidelines to ensure fairness, accountability, and responsible administration of funds.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering and overseeing the JAINA interest-free student loan program
• Establishing fair and transparent application, approval, and repayment processes
• Identifying and supporting deserving students across North America
• Promoting educational advancement and financial accessibility
• Ensuring responsible fund management, compliance, and reporting practices
• Encouraging a culture of gratitude, leadership, and future community contribution among recipients
• Maintaining donor confidence through transparency and accountability
• Evaluating and enhancing the program’s effectiveness, sustainability, and long-term impact

The committee will work collaboratively with JAINA leadership and community stakeholders to strengthen educational opportunities and support the future growth and success of the Jain community.
