To establish JAINA as a globally recognized voice of Jainism, known for its principles of non-violence, wisdom, and community service, with strong engagement across digital, media, and public platforms.

Core Mission

To promote and strengthen the visibility of JAINA by delivering clear, consistent, and impactful communication across social media, press media, and strategic partnerships, while representing Jain values with authenticity and integrity.

Committee Description

The JAINA Public Relations Committee is responsible for managing and enhancing the organization’s external image and communications. The committee will develop and execute strategic communication plans to increase awareness, understanding, and engagement with JAINA’s mission and activities. It will oversee social media presence, press relations, media outreach, and partnership communications to ensure a unified and professional representation of JAINA. The committee will also support advocacy efforts by highlighting Jain values, community initiatives, and impactful stories. Through consistent messaging and proactive engagement, the committee will strengthen JAINA’s visibility and influence across local, national, and global platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Chairperson: Provide strategic direction, oversee PR initiatives, and ensure alignment with JAINA’s mission and values.
  • Social Media Lead: Manage content creation, posting strategy, and engagement across digital platforms.
  • Press & Media Relations Lead: Coordinate with journalists, media outlets, and press releases to ensure accurate representation of JAINA.
  • Content & Messaging Lead: Develop clear, consistent, and impactful messaging aligned with Jain principles and organizational goals.
  • Partnerships & Outreach Lead: Build relationships with external organizations, influencers, and advocacy groups.
  • Digital Communications Coordinator: Manage website updates, newsletters, and online communication tools.
  • Crisis & Reputation Management Lead: Monitor public perception and handle sensitive communication situations effectively.
  • Events & Public Engagement Lead: Support visibility at events, conferences, and public forums.
  • Analytics & Impact Coordinator: Track engagement metrics, media reach, and communication effectiveness for continuous improvement.
