To build a globally connected and collaborative Jain diaspora network that advances Jain values, strengthens cultural identity, and drives impactful partnerships across international communities and organizations.

Core Mission

To strengthen global Jain unity by fostering meaningful relationships with Jain communities, leaders, and institutions across more than 35 countries, promoting the shared identity of One Jain / Global Citizenship rooted in Jain values.

Committee Description

The JAINA Diaspora Committee is responsible for cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with Jain organizations, leaders, and allied institutions worldwide. The committee will promote the principle of One Jain identity by encouraging collaboration across countries, cultures, and organizations. It will facilitate joint initiatives, conferences, and projects with global partners such as interfaith groups, NGOs, and institutions including the Parliament of World Religions, Bharatiya Jain Sanghathan, Ratna Global Foundation, and Rotary, among others. The committee will support initiatives in education, advocacy, philanthropy, and research that align with Jain values and global relevance. By strengthening diaspora engagement, the committee aims to enhance JAINA’s international presence and foster meaningful collaboration on shared humanitarian and spiritual goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Chairperson: Provide strategic leadership, define global engagement priorities, and ensure alignment with JAINA’s mission.
  • Global Partnerships Lead: Develop and maintain relationships with Jain organizations and allied institutions across countries.
  • Interfaith & NGO Collaboration Lead: Coordinate partnerships with global organizations working on shared causes such as peace, education, and sustainability.
  • Diaspora Engagement Coordinator: Strengthen connections with Jain communities worldwide and support local-global collaboration.
  • Events & International Programs Lead: Organize global conferences, joint events, and collaborative initiatives with international partners.
  • Research & Policy Collaboration Lead: Support academic, cultural, and policy-based collaborations with scholars and institutions.
  • Communications & Global Outreach Lead: Promote JAINA’s international initiatives and ensure consistent messaging across diaspora networks.
  • Philanthropy & Project Development Lead: Facilitate joint funding opportunities and collaborative humanitarian or educational projects.
  • Impact & Network Analyst: Track engagement, partnerships, and outcomes to measure global reach and effectiveness.
