Community Health Services

The JAINA Community Health Services is dedicated to improving the collective well-being of the JAINA community by bridging the gap between providers and members, regardless of location, through Telehealth, a Doximity-powered program. It will provide continuous education by offering JAIN way health literacy through recurring expert-led monthly lecture series on diverse health subjects. We are committed to equipping each JAIN Center with the specialized tools and logistical support needed to host annual health fairs, enabling the systematic tracking of health metrics across the national JAINA community.

Our mission is to foster a healthier JAINA community by mobilizing a unified national network of healthcare professionals into a single collaborative ecosystem. We are committed to providing equitable access to medical expertise via a Doximity-powered telehealth platform, fostering lifelong learning through monthly lecture series, and driving targeted campaigns for diabetes and chronic disease prevention. By institutionalizing annual health fairs and leveraging the Athena EMR platform to monitor nationwide health indicators, we ensure proactive, data-driven preventive care for all JAIN centers in the United States.

Committee Description

The Community Health Services Committee consists of a multidisciplinary network of primary care physicians and medical specialists who deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive, and accessible virtual healthcare to the JAINA Community Nationwide.
